Workshop.
"Yoga and Storytelling".
Starting on Sat 28 Feb at 9:30am.
With Meenu
Sivaramakrishnan.
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
In a world full of distractions, yoga grounds
us. Storytelling helps us
make sense of our
lives. Together, they offer
a sacred space
to explore identity, release stress, and spark
imagination. Whether you're
on the mat or
telling or listening stories, both practices
invite you to show up honestly, breathe
deeply, and tell your truth.
Yoga and
storytelling may seem like two different
worlds – one rooted in physical stillness
and inner peace, the other driven by words,
characters, and plot. But
at their core, both
are practices of connection.
When combined,
they create a powerful medium for self-
expression, healing, and transformation.
***
In this workshop we explore how we can
incorporate yoga aspects like poses and
breath work, and also explore the philosophy
of yoga through stories

Workshop Description:
When ritual space is held through stories,
the unseen moves where language alone
cannot reach. This workshop
is like a candle
in a quiet room, where fairytale, memory,
and silence gather and are entered through
contemplative storytelling and guided
exercises with the body, breathe and
imagination – inviting us as storytellers to
inhabit each moment, image, and pause so
fully that story becomes a shared feast,
offering wonder, tenderness, connection,
or healing to both teller and listener.

Workshop.
"Ways Subaltern Gods and Goddesses in
Hindu Mythology Protect the Environment
and Strengthen the Bonds between Humans
and Their Immediate Surroundings".
Starting on Sun 15 Feb at 6pm.
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
Subaltern gods and goddesses play a crucial
role in fostering an intimate, ethical relationship
between humans and the environment. Rooted
in local ecology and lived experience, these
belief systems promote sustainability, conservation,
and coexistence. In an age
of environmental crisis,
recognizing and respecting such indigenous
spiritual traditions can offer valuable insights into
alternative, culturally grounded models of ecological
harmony.
Subaltern belief
systems often stand in quiet
resistance to modern, extractive approaches to nature.
By emphasizing reciprocity – giving offerings, observing
taboos, and respecting natural rhythms – they challenge
purely commercial views of land and resources. These
subaltern gods and goddesses humanize nature as a
whole and/or natural elements and thus we find
communities that worship a river or consider a snake
sacred develop empathy, a nurturing care, respect, and
gratitude towards the environment.
The Workshop will
also ask, What modern-day forms of the inclination to
protect and nurture nature exist, or could exist?

"The Story Algorithm: Crafting a Life Worth
Living;
A Narrative Approach to Game Theory and Living
with Intention; and Exploring the Intersection
of
Story and Strategy".
Starting on Thurs 19 Feb at 7:30pm
India time
(9am USA Eastern time).
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
This Workshop involves
reflection on how the
shapes of story, and
the principles of Game
Theory, can illuminate
a path to more intentional,
meaningful living. Drawing on the power of
narrative, familiar
archetypes, and moments
from my own journey,
we’ll consider how the
roles we play and the
choices we make influence
not only our own
well-being, but also our
relationship with
others and the world around us.
Participants will be
invited to share, through story
circle, their own
vignettes of transformation. This
Workshop is designed to
be a reminder that our
words shape our
reality, that clarity of intention
opens unexpected doors,
and that we are always,
consciously or not,
authoring the story we live –
moment by moment,
choice by choice. We may
even talk a bit about
magic – the real kind, the
kind made of words,
intention, and the courage to
ask questions.

"Ways Heroes and Heroines Develop:
Is Vulnerability a Strength or a
Weakness?".
Starting on Sat 28 Feb at 6pm India
time
(2:30pm Transylvania time).
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
***
From where does the
strength of folktale
characters come? In what ways are they
vulnerable? Under what conditions does
a character's vulnerability
become a source
of the character's
strength? How and by
what are characters
weakened? In what
ways do they
develop? Is this development
an intentional process,
or natural and
inevitable one? Do you dare to follow them?
***
This Workshop is designed
to assist the
participants to deepen
self-awareness and
self-knowledge,
initiating inner journeys to
arrive at the
"here and now," following the
hero's/heroine's path.
***
We will observe ways
characters are brave
by learning to not
fear, and to not feel ashamed
of themselves. In some folktales the hero/
heroine displays a
gesture of sincerity – firstly
to oneself, and
secondly to the world. In this
way, a character may
gain a special identity
by being authentic and
fearless.
***
We can make useful choices regarding ways
of maintaining sustainable patterns for creativity,
innovation, and change. But do we
always
recognize where we are? Do we
know what
we need to overcome, and how to do it?
The
folktales know, because they are "life recipes"
for all kind of social and personal life situations,
breaking down much of what humanity has
experienced.
***
In this workshop we will explore some beloved
evergreen folktales and we will seek to feel,
sense, and understand the wisdom of the
folktales regarding ways of connecting to
ourselves, animals, plants, and the surrounding
Universe. Discovering common
points between
one's own personal journey in life, and journeys
in folktales, is a primary aim of the Workshop.

Workshop.
"Think Out of the Box – Through
Stories".
Starting on Sat 7 March at 6pm.
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
In this Workshop, participants will be assisted
to experience and thus recognise that stories
can be a powerful way through which one can
think beyond one's so-called capacity.
Children tend to be naturally blessed with
out-of-the-box thinking. In this
Workshop,
it willl become clear that, with the help of stories,
adults can also think above and beyond
immediate conditions.
***
Three areas in which out-of-the-box thinking
can be applied are: 1) interaction with and
mentoring of children, 2) work-life excellence,
and 3) personal growth.

Description:

every human being undertakes through the fluctuations
of the soul. Following the
key stations of Odysseus'

we explore oizys – the deepest,
inexpressible psychic pain that marks moments of
profound human suffering.
Odysseus becomes the
human self in search of reunion with Penelope, the
symbol of the immortal soul, guided by Athena’s wisdom
toward self-knowledge and self-integration. The workshop
weaves mythic narration with moments of creative
expression, inviting participants to give voice, image,

Starting on Sat 14 Feb at 7:30pm India

(9am USA Eastern time).
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
This Workshop explores the unique role of
the storyteller as narrator.
Who tells the story
and how it is told is a key to what takes place.
In this Workshop we will work with the special
role of the narrator as transmitter of a radical
experience of interbeing.
This is a jewel of the
event, needed in today's world where it is
becoming harder to discern truth and wisdom
from information and manipulated narratives.
I will tell a story that we will use as the template
for our exploration of the narrator in order to
become more deeply familiar with how we can
gift our listeners with a sense of inherent
connection, compassion, and awakened
intelligence that rises naturally when the
intuitive mind is awakened through imaginative
response and reciprocity.

"Getting it Right: Telling Historical
Stories".
Starting on Sat 28 Feb at 7:30pm India
time
(9am USA Eastern time).
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
It has been said that, "History is a story well
told."
This Workshop will show participants ways to create,
research, shape ,and tell interesting and compelling
historical stories. We will
discuss ways to choose
and focus your story, and ways to develop and bring
to life key characters and historical moments. Telling
a historical story is tricky because it is a known thing.
You cannot change something that is accepted as true,
that is written in black and white, and often in blood.
***
Please bring the idea for a historical story – a place,
character, and/or an event.
Please be ready to explore
questions such as: What is
important about this story
for you? Why do you want to
tell it? Who do you think
would get the most out of this story and why? How do
you choose the "most important bits"? If you don't have
an idea for a story yet, please come anyway and we'll
see what germinates for you!

Starting on Sat 28 Feb at 9:30am.

Workshop Description:
In a world full of distractions, yoga grounds
us. Storytelling helps us
make sense of our
lives. Together, they offer
a sacred space
to explore identity, release stress, and spark
imagination. Whether you're
on the mat or
telling or listening stories, both practices
invite you to show up honestly, breathe
deeply, and tell your truth.
Yoga and
storytelling may seem like two different
worlds – one rooted in physical stillness
and inner peace, the other driven by words,
characters, and plot. But
at their core, both
are practices of connection.
When combined,
they create a powerful medium for self-
expression, healing, and transformation.

incorporate yoga aspects like poses and
breath work, and also explore the philosophy

Workshop Description:
As storytellers, our traditions are mostly oral and
performance-related. We
channel from our hearts
and minds to the souls of our audience, so that they
carry the story forward with them and in turn move
it into the world. When
stories need to be written we
need to change the way of communicating the story,
and understand that the same audience can be
different as readers. What
makes a successful written
story? How do we move our
work from one medium
to another? In this
workshop we’ll take a journey
together through what works and what doesn’t. We
will do some exercises that help strengthen our written
voice so it resonates with our reading audience.

"The Heart

With Lalitha
Sastry.
Starting on Thurs 5 March at 6pm.
(90-minute segment.)

Workshop Description:
In
this ever-changing world if one thing is
constant,
that is change. Every minute,
every
day something around us is changing.
As
individuals or organisations, if we do not
adapt
to the change then we either have to
bend
or break. Stories have the power to
bring
about a change, subtly but strongly.
In
this workshop we discuss how we can
choose
and create simple stories to help
with
change management.

Misery):
The Soul's Odyssey", with Katerina
Voskaridou.
Starting on Sun 8 Feb at 6pm India time
(2:30pm Greece time).
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
This workshop is dedicated to the inner odyssey
every human being undertakes through the fluctuations
of the soul. Following the
key stations of Odysseus'
journey in the Odyssey,
we explore oizys – the deepest,
inexpressible psychic pain that marks moments of
profound human suffering.
Odysseus becomes the
human self in search of reunion with Penelope, the
symbol of the immortal soul, guided by Athena’s wisdom
toward self-knowledge and self-integration. The workshop
weaves mythic narration with moments of creative
expression, inviting participants to give voice, image,
and form to their own inner journeys. The workshop
offers a space of recognition, compassion, and hope.

"Key Learnings from the Epics,
Ramayana and Mahabharata".
Starting on Fri 6 March at 8pm.
(90-minute segment.)
–––
Workshop Description:
This workshop would be a journey towards
excellence. Myths are an
infinite pool of
wisdom. Their power comes,
in part, because
the events they portray are atemporal (timeless).
These stories do not belong to a single voice,
but are carried forward by many hands, many
minds, across time and language.
In this workshop we would explore ancient
epics that offer wisdom on the human condition,
teaching lessons about the importance of
Dharma/Duty (Mahabharata),
Ecological
Stewardship (Ramayana),
and Resilience,
Purpose, and Divine Feminine Energy
(sometimes known as "The Courtyard Goddess",
which refers to Holy Basil in Tulsidas'
Ramcharitmanas, a retelling of the Ramayana
in the Avadhi language).
